[Collegio.dottmicr] Summary of the Thesis and Individual report

This is a communication regarding the summary of the thesis and the report on individual activities that all the PhD candidates are expected to submit by the end of the third year. Even though this communication contains information that should be well known to everybody, I ask all the PhD students and all the (potential) tutors to read and meet the requirements, also for the forthcoming years.


The summary of the thesis can be the same as the Abstract of the thesis (for those of you who include an abstract in their thesis) (even this is not mandatory, this is the simplest, yet effective choice).

The report on individual activities done during the PhD program is expected to include the activities done during your PhD activity (if you wish, split year by year). Activities refer not only to the activities that give rise to the thesis, but include all scientific activities, educational activities, and other activities if any. The list of publications should also be included in this report (even though you also have to prepare a separate document for this list), so that any reader can immediately have the idea of all you have done during your PhD activity. Please remember that this report will also be delivered to your external evaluators. 

My recommendation is that those of you who did not meet the above requirements in the documents they already delivered this month, be so kind as to re-edit their documents and re-deliver them (by the suggested deadline).
