<p>Dear colleagues, <br>
<br>
the Evaluation Committee of the PhD Course in Microelectronics
will convene on <b>Wednesday, September 22nd 2021, at 9:00 AM</b>,
for the yearly assessment of the activity of first, second and
third year students. The meeting will take place on the <b>zoom</b>
platform. The instructions to connect to the virtual room will be
sent in the next few days. <br>
</p>
<p>The committee will have to evaluate the activity of 13 first year
students, 10 second year students and 1 third year student (to be
admitted to the final defense). As far as first year students are
concerned, the Committee evaluation <b>will only be based on a
written report</b>. No oral presentation will therefore be
scheduled for first year students. Second year students, instead,
besides preparing a written report, <b>will have to give an oral
presentation</b> about their research activity. For her/his
presentation, each second year student will have <b>15 minutes,
including a 3 minute slot for Q&A</b>. <b>30 minutes,
including 5 minutes for Q&A</b>, will be reserved for the
only third year candidate.<br>
