Dear colleagues,

We are glad to announce that the Viadrina International Program – for
Graduates (VIP) <http://www.europa-uni.de/VIP> as a funding program for
doctoral and postdoctoral researchers has funds for the year 2022. The
program is funded by the European University Viadrina and the German
Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The VIP aims to support the
international networking
of doctoral candidates and their stronger involvement in international research
contexts and discourses.

*International doctoral candidates* may apply for research stays in 2022 at
the European University Viadrina to get familiarize with the research
environment at the Viadrina. These fellowships allow international doctoral
candidates to get in touch with Viadrina professors for research
co-operations or potential doctoral opportunities (e.g. joint degrees and
cotutelle agreements). International doctoral candidates may apply for the
following funding line:

•             Fellowships for research stays at the European University
Viadrina (max. 3 months)

The application deadline is *October 10, 2021 (23:59 pm CET)*.

We would be very pleased if you could forward the call for applications to
potentially interested faculties, chairs and doctoral candidates at your
university.

In case if applicants are interested in getting more information about the
VIP, we will be happy to answer their questions during our *information
meeting* on the *17th of August at 4 p.m. CET *(registration until the 12th of
August is required via ipid-programm a europa-uni.de). The event will be hold
in English.

Sehr geehrte Kolleg:innen,

wir freuen uns Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass das Viadrina International
 Program – for Graduates (VIP) <http://www.europa-uni.de/VIP> der
Europa-Universität Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) als Förderprogramm für
Promovierende wieder zurück ist. Das Programm wird aus Eigenmitteln der
Europa-Universität Viadrina sowie aus Mitteln des Deutschen Akademischen
Austauschdienstes (DAAD) gefördert. Im Rahmen des VIP erhalten
Promovierende die Chance, sich international zu vernetzen und sich stärker
in internationale Forschungszusammenhänge und -diskurse einzubringen.

Im Rahmen des VIP haben *internationale Promovierende* die Möglichkeit zum
Kennenlernen des Forschungsumfeldes der Viadrina und der dortigen
Promotionsmöglichkeiten (z.B. der Einrichtung von Cotutelle-Verfahren)
Förderungen für Forschungs- und Kontaktaufenthalte zu beantragen.
Gleichzeitig besteht die Möglichkeit mit Wissenschaftlern und
Wissenschaftlerinnen der Viadrina gemeinsame Forschungsschwerpunkte
aufzubauen oder zu intensivieren. Internationale Promovierende können sich
daher ab sofort für folgende Förderungen bewerben:

•             Fellowships für Forschungsaufenthalte an der
Europa-Universität Viadrina (max. 3 Monate)

Die Bewerbungsfrist für die einzelnen Förderlinien endet am *10. Oktober
2021 (23:59 MEZ).*

Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn Sie die Ausschreibungen an interessierte
Fakultäten, Lehrstühle und Promovierende Ihrer Universität weiterleiten
könnten.

Falls Bewerber:innen Interesse haben, mehr über das VIP zu erfahren,
beantworten wir gerne ihre Fragen während unseres Infonachmittages am *17.
August um 16 Uhr MEZ* (Anmeldung bis zum 12. August unter
ipid-programm a europa-uni.de erforderlich). Die Sprache der Veranstaltung
ist Englisch. Wenn Sie aufgrund der Sprache nicht an der Veranstaltung
teilnehmen können, teilen Sie uns dies bitte mit, sodass wir eine
Alternative anbieten können.
