Dear All,

We are glad to announce a School and a Workshop we are organizing at Centro
de Giorgi, Pisa (Italy) on the Mathematics of Machine Learning.

School: http://www.crm.sns.it/event/474/ (10-14 January 2022)
Workshop: https://crm.sns.it/event/491/ <https://crm.sns.it/event/491/)> (17-21
January 2022)

The plan of both the school and the workshop is to bring together Machine
Learning researchers working on theoretical questions at the interface
between Mathematics and Computer science. The lectures will target a broad
audience of early stage mathematicians, including Ph.D and advanced
Master students. Therefore, we kindly ask you to forward and encourage the
participation of your students.

The workshop will further showcase state of the art and current trends in
machine learning.

These events will be organized in hybrid format with the speakers giving
the lectures at the Centro De Giorgi. The number of participants allowed to
attend the event at the Centro De Giorgi will follow
the Italian regulations of January.

Funding is available for covering the accommodation expenses. In
exceptional cases, travel expenses can be also covered.
