Vi scriviamo per promuovere la seconda edizione della "*Conference of Young
Applied Mathematicians*".
L'evento si terrà dal 18 al 22 Settembre 2022 ad Arenzano (GE).

La conferenza è rivolta principalmente a dottorandi e post-doc (ma anche
gli studenti magistrali sono i benvenuti) interessati all'Analisi Numerica,
alla Modellistica Numerica, alla Statistica e al Machine Learning.
Il primo giorno ci saranno due plenary talk tenuti dalla Prof.ssa Silvia
Villa, UniGE, e dal Prof. Moiola, UniPV.
Durante la settimana verranno organizzati alcuni eventi sociali, incluso un
aperitivo di benvenuto la prima sera.

Incoraggiamo fortemente i partecipanti a presentare i loro progetti o
attività di ricerca. Speriamo che questo evento dia l'opportunità di creare
nuovi legami e collaborazioni tra giovani ricercatori provenienti da
università differenti.

Dear all,

We are writing to you to promote the second "*Conference of Young Applied
Mathematicians*".
The event will be held between the 18th and the 22nd of September 2022 in
Arenzano (GE), Italy.

The conference is mainly aimed at PhD students and postdocs (but we also
welcome Master's students) interested in the fields of Numerical Analysis,
Numerical Modelling, Statistics, and Machine Learning.
The first day, there will be two plenary talks held by Prof. Silvia Villa,
UniGE, and by Prof. Andrea Moiola, UniPV.
Some social events will be organized during the week, including a welcome
aperitif on the first evening.

The participants are strongly encouraged to present their research projects
or activities. We hope that this event will give the opportunity to create
new bonds and collaborations between young researchers from different
universities.
