Dear Colleagues,

I take advantage of the customary end of the year goodwill messaging to
cordially invite you to our second gathering "*Incontro Annuale dei
Ricercatori in Matematica UNIPV*".

The meeting will take place in the "Laboratorio Didattico" lecture
hall on *Wednesday
the 5th* of *February* *2025*, in the *afternoon*, and *Thursday the 6th*
of *February 2025*, *all day*.

More details will be sent your way, but let me remind you that this two-day
conference is aimed at Postdocs and R-tdA-tdB-TT who are currently active
in our (extended) department, and it is meant as an opportunity for them to
present their research in accessible terms - for a general mathematics
audience - with the explicit goal of fostering and stimulating
intradepartmental scientific exchange.
We hope that this initiative will lead to many new fruitful collaborations,
and that it will strengthen existing ones.

These two days will be filled with a number of ordinary seminars (20
minutes + questions) and a guest lecture by Prof. Leone Slavich (45 minutes
+ questions). Early next year we will let you know about the program in
greater detail.

Hoping to see you there early February, we wish you all the best for a
great winter recess.
