We're excited to announce the upcoming launch of a new course within the
SIAM Student Chapter of Pavia: *Introduction to Julia Programming for Data
Science and Scientific Computing*.

*Course Details:*


   - *Title*: Introduction to Julia Programming for Data Science and
   Scientific Computing


   - *Organizers*: Ivan Bioli, Massimiliano Ghiotto (Ph.D. students)


   - *Schedule*: Weekly lectures from 16:30 to 18:00, starting Wednesday,
   November 6th at Aula Beltrami (Department of Mathematics).


   - *Prerequisites: *Basic programming knowledge.


   - *Brief Course description: *The objective of this *reading course* is
   to provide students with a foundational understanding of the Julia
   programming language. By the end of the course, students will be able to
   efficiently use Julia to solve computational problems in different areas.
