Dear PhD students,
On April 10, the PhD course *“Single-Cell Modeling of Cardiac
Electrophysiology” *will begin.
*Lecturer: Dr. Alessandro Trancuccio, MD, PhD*
Referent: Prof. Luca Pavarino, PhD
*Course Description:*
The course aims to provide PhD students with a comprehensive understanding
of the theoretical and practical aspects of cardiac electrophysiology at
the single-cell level. The program will cover the physiological bases of
cardiac action potential generation, the role of ion channels, and how
these mechanisms can be mathematically modeled to simulate cardiac cell
behavior. The course will integrate theoretical lectures with hands-on
computational modeling activities using programming tools such as MATLAB.
- Duration: 16 hours (4 CFU)
- Location: Sala Biblioteca, Dipartimento di Matematica
