Dear all,

Today is the *International Day for Women in Mathematics*, that
commemorates the birth of the eminent mathematician Maryam Mirzakhani, the
only woman to have been awarded the Fields medal. As organizers of
“Insalate di Matematica” , we believe that it is still important to discuss
gender diversity in the mathematical fields and we have decided to dedicate
the final talk of this year's edition to the topic.


For this *final talk* of the series of seminars "Insalate di
Matematica", *Chiara
Sabadin *(University of Regensburg and Women in Mathematics
Regensburg) will guide the discussion.
