Through a kinetic point of view, we derive an energy functional akin to the Oseen-Frank energy, enhancing understanding of anisotropic effects. Employing the Noll-Coleman procedure we obtain a novel expression for stress and couple-stress tensors. Additionally, we develop an existence and uniqueness theory for stationary solutions of modified Leslie-Eriksen equations with a prescribed nematic field, utilizing Muckenhoupt weighted Sobolev spaces.</span><br></div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"></div></body></html>
