Dear all, 

the “Università nei Collegi” courses will resume in December. International
faculty members offer in-depth courses, delivered entirely in English,
consolidating 24 hours of instruction into a very limited number of days.

If you have not formally included these courses in your university
curriculum (study plan), you may still attend them for the purpose of
fulfilling your 'internal hours' requirement.

Please be reminded that a mandatory attendance of 75% is always required.

The course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills required for
the design and regulation of nanomedicines. It will cover pharmaceutical
nanotechnology product design strategies, as well as case studies and
regulatory frameworks within the Biotech sector pertaining to nanomedicines.

This course is designed to empower students with a comprehensive
understanding of pivotal theoretical frameworks, dynamic debates, and
compelling empirical evidence that illuminate the connections between the
global green transformation and economic development in the Global South.
Additionally, it delves into the influential role of public policy at both
local and global levels, ensuring a well-rounded exploration of these
critical issues.

Rasmus Lema is full professor of economics at the University of
Johannesburg. Rasmus has more than 20 years of experience in research,
consultancy and teaching in industrial development. His areas of
specialisation are sustainable industrialisation, technological learning and
green transformations.
