Giunta della Fondazione MeSSInA, ente non profit che ha sviluppato in Sicilia un ampio e innovativo cluster di economia sociale, definito Distretto Sociale Evoluto. Questo modello riunisce un ecosistema di organizzazioni territoriali impegnate nel perseguimento di obiettivi di giustizia sociale e sviluppo umano sostenibile in diversi ambiti: dalla rigenerazione urbana al social housing, fino alle iniziative a sostegno dell’imprenditorialità sociale e della transizione ambientale. Sono temi che stanno particolarmente a cuore al Collegio e l’ospite è persona visionaria che potrà accendere non solo la curiosità, ma anche la volontà di impegno in tal senso, soprattutto nelle sue corregionali. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Parimenti importante è non far mancare il sostegno, alle <b>ore 18 in sala conf</b>, a Maria Chiara Franceschini, una ex alunna che torna a casa per presentare le sue sorprendenti scoperte archeologiche in Etruria. È docente ora all’Università di Friburgo, in Germania, e per le letterate potrà essere un contatto importante per studi futuri. Ma anche per tutte le altre sia interpretato come un dovere morale di “bentornata in Collegio”: immaginatevi voi tra quindici anni a riportare in Collegio il frutto del vostro lavoro e trovare solo tre o quattro persone. Come diceva S. Caterina: “Non devo aggiungere di più”. Il Collegio e la rete di ex si costruisce con lo sforzo delle più grandi e di voi collegiali. Our president will be in conversation with Dr. Giunta of the MeSSInA Foundation, a nonprofit organization that has developed a large and innovative social economy cluster in Sicily, called the Advanced Social District. This model brings together an ecosystem of local organizations committed to pursuing goals of social justice and sustainable human development in various fields: from urban regeneration to social housing, to initiatives supporting social entrepreneurship and environmental transition. These are issues that are particularly close to the College's heart, and our guest speaker is a visionary who will be able to spark not only curiosity but also a desire for commitment in this regard, especially among his fellow students.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Equally important is to not fail to offer support, at <b>6 pm in the conference room</b>, to Maria Chiara Franceschini, a former student who is returning home to present her surprising archaeological discoveries in Etruria. She is now a professor at the University of Freiburg, Germany, and for students of letters, she could be an important contact for future studies. But for all the others, too, let it be interpreted as a moral duty to "welcome back to the College": imagine yourself in fifteen years bringing the fruits of your labor back to the College and finding only three or four people. As Saint Catherine said: "I must not add anything more." The College and its network of alumni are built with the efforts of the older ones and of you fellow students.
