Egregi,

In riferimento a quanto statuito nella lettera Prot: 202400005REG inviataVi in data 05/02/2024, (qui allegata nuovamente)

con la presente si chiarisce che gli obblighi descritti nella sopracitata lettera riguardano unicamente i fornitori che consegnano materiali che incorporano ferro o acciaio (per esempio acquistati tramite un rivenditore/distributore).

In tale caso dovrà essere inviato ad Hitachi Rail STS SPA,  MTC del produttore della materia prima.

Restano pertanto, esclusi i fornitori di servizi/prestazioni.

I regolamenti UE contemplano come prodotti in ferro/acciaio quelli con un codice doganale che inizia con 72xxxxxxxx o 73xxxxxxxx.

Se i Vostri prodotti sono correttamente classificati con un altro codice doganale (cioè non un codice doganale definito nell'Allegato XVII del regolamento (UE) 833/2014), non è necessaria alcuna dichiarazione.

Infine, si prega di caricare la dichiarazione da Voi firmata unicamente sul Portale Fornitori come illustrato nella lettera a Voi inviata.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to what was stated in the letter Prot: 202400005REG sent to you on 05/02/2024, (here attached again)

we hereby clarify that the obligations described in the aforementioned letter only concern suppliers who are delivering items made from iron/steel ( e.g. purchased by a retailer/distributor).

In such case, Hitachi Rail STS spa is expected to receive the MTC from the producer of the iron/steel.

Consequently, Suppliers of services/performance are to be considered excluded.

EU regulations cover as iron/steel products those with a customs code beginning with 72xxxxxxxx or 73xxxxxxxx.

If your products are correctly classified with another customs code (i.e. not a customs code defined in Annex XVII of Regulation (EU) 833/2014), no declaration is required.

Finally, please upload the declaration signed by you exclusively to the Supplier Portal as explained in the letter sent to you.
