[Collegio.dottmicr] PhD in Microelectronics - yearly student assessment

Dear colleagues,

the Evaluation Committee of the PhD Course in Microelectronics will 
convene on *Wednesday, September 22nd 2021, at 9:00 AM*, for the yearly 
assessment of the activity of first, second and third year students. The 
meeting will take place on the *zoom* platform. The instructions to 
connect to the virtual room will be sent in the next few days.

The committee will have to evaluate the activity of 13 first year 
students, 10 second year students and 1 third year student (to be 
admitted to the final defense). As far as first year students are 
concerned, the Committee evaluation *will only be based on a written 
report*. No oral presentation will therefore be scheduled for first year 
students. Second year students, instead, besides preparing a written 
report, *will have to give an oral presentation* about their research 
activity. For her/his presentation, each second year student will have 
*15 minutes, including a 3 minute slot for Q&A*. *30 minutes, including 
5 minutes for Q&A*, will be reserved for the only third year candidate.
