Cari dottorandi,
il Ministero ha emesso una circolare interpretativa dell' art. 33 comma
2bis della Legge 21 maggio 2021, n. 69, il quale consente ai dottorandi dei
cicli 34°- 36° di chiedere una proroga di massimo tre mesi.

Secondo tale circolare, tutti i dottorandi che intendono usufruire della
proroga devono dichiararlo entro la fine dell’anno accademico, compresi i
dottorandi del 35° e 36° ciclo. Questo significa che chi dovrebbe finire il
dottorato al 30 settembre potrà estendere il periodo di dottorato fino al
31 dicembre al massimo.

Le regole saranno le stesse delle proroghe già concesse ai dottorandi del
33° e 34° ciclo: la proroga sarà finanziata dal MUR per tutti i dottorandi
titolari di borsa di studio, indipendentemente dalla fonte del
finanziamento. Anche i dottorandi senza borsa potranno richiederla, ma
senza sostegno economico.

In caso di risposta multipla, sarà considerata come valida l'ultima in
ordine di tempo.
Anche i dottorandi che abbiano chiesto una sospensione durante la propria
carriera sono tenuti a rispettare la scadenza sopra indicata.

direttamente in caso di necessità.

Dear PhD students,
the Ministry has issued an interpretative circular letter of Law no. 69,
art. 33 paragraph 2bis, which allows PhD students of the 34th-36th cycles
to request an extension up to three months.

According to this circular, all PhD students who intend to take advantage
of the extension must declare it by the end of the academic year, including
doctoral students of the 35th and 36th cycles.. This means that those who
are expected to finish their doctorate on September 30 will be able to
extend the doctoral period until December 31st at the latest.

The rules will be the same as the extensions already granted to the 33rd
and 34th cycle PhD students: the extension will be funded by the MUR for
all PhD students holding a scholarship, regardless of the source of
funding. Even PhD students without a scholarship will be able to apply for
it, but without financial support.

In case of multiple answers, the last one in order of time will be
considered as valid.

Doctoral students who have requested a suspension during their career are
also required to meet the above deadline.
