[Comunicazione.dottorandi] Richiesta proroga / Extension request - deadline 16th July

Cari dottorandi,
come saprete, anche quest'anno la legge (Legge 21 maggio 2021, n. 69, art.
33 comma 2bis) permette di chiedere una proroga del triennio di dottorato,
per un massimo di tre mesi. La proroga sarà finanziata dal MUR per tutti i
dottorandi titolari di borsa di studio. Anche i dottorandi senza borsa
potranno richiederla, ma senza sostegno economico.
Questo significa che chi dovrebbe finire il dottorato al 30 settembre potrà
estendere il periodo di dottorato fino al 31 dicembre 2021 al massimo.

In caso di risposta multipla, sarà considerata come valida l'ultima in
ordine di tempo.
Anche i dottorandi che abbiano chiesto una sospensione durante la propria
carriera sono tenuti a rispettare la scadenza sopra indicata.

Vi informo inoltre che la Scuola di Alta Formazione Dottorale (SAFD)
proporrà anche quest'anno una deroga di 60 giorni per la consegna della
domanda di esame finale.
Per chi finisce regolarmente il 30 settembre, questa deroga permette la
consegna della domanda di esame finale fino al 30 novembre.
Chi invece chiederà il massimo della proroga (31 dicembre), potrà
consegnare la domanda di esame finale entro il 28 febbraio.
Sarete tempestivamente informati se la proposta sarà approvata.
Vi chiedo gentilmente di non rispondere a questa mail, ma di contattarmi
direttamente in caso di necessità.

Dear Phd Students,
as you already may know, by virtue of art. 33 of Legge 21 maggio 2021, n.
69, PhD students terminating their course of studies in this academic year
can ask for an extension of the course up to three months. For the
recipients of the “borsa di dottorato”, the extension applies also to the
scholarship.
For most of you the PhD course ends on September 30, 2021. In this case,
you could ask for an extension until December 31, 2021, at most.

In case of multiple entries, the most recent will be considered valid.
This deadline must be met also by PhD students who have asked for a
suspension during their career.

I would also like to inform you that the School of Advanced Doctoral
Training (SAFD) will also propose the Rector to extend the deadline for
delivering the thesis and applying for the final examination from two weeks
to two months after the conclusion of the Phd course.
If this further extension is accepted, these are two examples of your
deadlines:
- for those that will conclude their course on September 30 (without asking
the extension of L. n. 69/2021), the deadline will be November 30, 2021;
- for those that will conclude their course on December 31 (because of the
3-month extension of L. n. 69/2021), the deadline will be February 28, 2022.
For those whose PhD course ends on other dates because of suspension
periods, the end of the 3-month extension period and the deadline are
shifted accordingly.
You will be promptly informed if this proposal is approved.
