As part of the series of seminars *"Insalate di Matematica"*, *Alberto Daza
Garc**ía*, PhD Student at the Universidad de Zaragoza, will deliver a talk.
The seminar will be held online and it will be streamed via Webex

building U5-Ratio, Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca.

*Title*: *"Tensor categories and superalgebras**"*

*Abstract*: In this talk we review a method to construct superalgebras from
algebras in characteristic 3. In order to do so, we need to introduce some
notions on tensor categories and concretely, on the categories of finite
dimensional representations of the cyclic group of order 3 and of
supervector spaces. If the time allows, we apply the method to the
octonions.
