[Segreteria.iii] P.h.D degree study

Dear Sir,

   I am writing in regard to the possibility of joining a research team at the
University of Pavia. I’m an Iraqi researcher, pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer
Science department (study in the English language).

I earned my B.Sc. degree in Computer Science in 2007 from the University of
Technology in Iraq. Where I ranked 4th among 40 students. As a graduation
project, I developed a website for a tutoring Linux operating system.
Later, I earned my Master's degree in Computer Science and Communication in
2014 form Arts Sciences & Technology University in Lebanon. Where I have
done a research “MIGRATION FROM IPV4 TO IPV6” by using the ISATAP tunnel.
This research was published by my university in its official journal. My
research, also, achieved excellent grades in 2014.

After graduation in 2007, I occupied different positions. I worked as a lab
director at Dijlah University for two years. My duties included assisting
in teaching programming languages (e.g. MATLAB, C++). Besides that, I was
responsible for running the laboratory. It is worth to mention that I
developed Software for student registration and book indexing.

In 2009, I got an offer from Baghdad University, which ranks 1st in Iraq.
Where I worked as a design programmer for databases and web design. Besides
that, I work now as a teacher at the Computer Science department, where I
teach networking and communication, and logic design. As acknowledgment for
my hard work and achievements, they gave me an opportunity to pursue my
M.Sc. degree in Lebanon in 2013 with a GPA of 3.15.

 After 5 years of hardworking, I followed my M.Sc. degree study. I recently
got another opportunity to pursue a Ph.D. degree (self-funding) I don’t
need any funding from the university and I can give a bank statement to
prove that. I'm interested in (IoT, Healthcare, and Wireless networks).

Since the University of Pavia has a very strong reputation in research and
development, especially in my field, I believe this opportunity can
significantly benefit my Ph.D. research.

Having that in mind, I would be grateful if you could give me the
opportunity to join a team in 2021. In line with my schedule, I would
prefer to study for 3 - 5 years.

I believe that I have a solid foundation with the necessary experience to
go through this research. I also hope to join a team to develop expertise
and significantly improve the quality of my research. I have attached
(C.V., master's degree certificate, a B.Sc. degree certificate, and my
proposal).
